          • Porticello looks like a big galloping stayer doesn't he

Could be a very nice staying chaser at some point

              • ….looks like 12-1 (PP) is best price for Porticello after that win.

Hes definitely the best of the British imo

Should be good enough for 4th or 5th haha

if the ground happened to be very soft he becomes a contender

                  • One of my favourite horses in training, bit of a fruitcake and game as a pebble. Really looked to have improved his jumping today but still made sure to chuck in a little bit of a brainfart at the 2nd last to give his fans what they wanted.

                    • A soft ground fast paced triumph will be right up his street, wouldn't rule him out if he got his conditions. Be a lovely chaser.

                      • Would be some reception for the Moores if he won this race, if a strong pace it could suit him to a tee with his stamina.

25/1 NRNB BOG for Pleasant Man, who "interestinly" beat non other than current Triumph fancy Pied Piper on his first start on the flat.

                            40/1 NRNB Rubaud

I do like these bets / prices... as based on the comments above (and what we know about Nicholls) that they either win and book their place, and therefore shorten significantly, or they don't win...and you get your money back.

He also finished behind him in a race at Goodwood the following season, albeit giving weight away.

                              • Kevloaf no brainer really isn't it if taking the book approach to the triumph, the last few years the adonis has been won by the likes of tritonic, solo, fusil raffles and redicean. Think they all won pretty easily and quite impressive and shortened loads, must be a while since a 1 has managed to win the adonis and actually run well/win the triumph isn't it?
