Struggle to see how Fil Dor reverses form on any ground. Vauban raced wide, was novicey at times, was a tad keen and is the more inexperienced / open to the most improvement. Don't see any holes.
Travelling for first time. Different course. Jumps right. Stiffer track. Potentially Softer ground. Bigger field, faster pace, 5 weeks for anything to happen, Fil Dor may have needed race ?

No reason I can think of apart from those.....
Of course anything can happen in 5 weeks and his jumping can be improved (i didn't notice a huge tendency to jump right) but i'm not sure any i buy any more of your points.
He has already ran well on heavy ground at Punchestown and all of his form in france was on soft ground up 1m 4f. Stamina isn't really a question for me and i think a strongly run race will suit and enable to him to settle
Nice win for Impulsive One at Musselburgh there, good little boost for Knight Salute!
They went an absolute nuclear pace - almost made Petit Mouchoir v Saint Calvados look sensible. Very different style of race than in against Knight Salute.

Yep, his form gets franked again and again. He'll be the big English hope though it'll be a surprise if he can get amongst the best of the Irish I suspect.
Think Il Etait Temps is more than capable of challenging this year. Should improve for the run and can see him liking Cheltenham. Same sire as Farclas
137 rpr for his hurdles debut, better than the other 3 on their debuts ..of course it was a better race, but still...he surely come on a bundle for that and imo he could well be a player in this yet...20s nrnb bet365 is a good price..

I agree. I topped up today on him. He ran well enough, and ahead of more experienced rivals to be considered an E/W prospect for this, IMO.
I was watching on RTE. Didn't Willie when asked accept that Il Etait Temps were more one for next year rather than going for this. Sure Ruby confirmed that Also on Saturday night during The Road to Cheltenham that was filmed at the course.

Fil Dor fairly weak on the exchanges, bit of money laid @ 8, and also very little back money to be laid, last matched @ 10.5.
Could be absolutely nothing, and maybe just the form lines of Pied Piper / Vauban have taken the market, but even so, Fil Dor has generally been well supported prior to this.

It's going to be a long 5 weeks for you if that's the benchmark for a worry
