I can't see either going to the Supreme in a hot year.
I had assumed that’s why PP ran in Cheltenham today but looking at the betting you’d think maybe he swerves it actually. Shame if so. Think since 2010, the earliest a triumph winner has had their final prep run is this weekend, so I hope he runs somewhere before the festival, and don’t think there’s really many/any other options for him

      Yeah.
Surely when you buy a few juveniles and campaign them, you're hoping to win the triumph hurdle.
No point whatsoever in splitting them unless you feel one would have a better chance in another race.
Which seems unlikely in this case.

If they are both fit and well come Friday 18th, you crack on and see who's best on the day.

I agree, despite just backing PP Supreme NRNB

        • Not had a festival winner either as owners have they?. Surely you’d want to nail that, than spread them around and maybe end up with nothing. Must be some feeling getting that first one.

Nail on the head for me, just said this to a couple of mates.

Go there with 2 cracking chances.

              • The only thing knockable after that is price IMO. ‘What’s he beaten arguments’ on their own seem futile given he’s just won 10L hard held at Cheltenham with untold amounts in hard. So so impressive.

it’s NOT quick ground!!! I’ve walked the course and spoken to the jockeys coming in. Riding on the softer side of good. But yes he is a tool

                  • I think they'd be mad to go for this years Supreme with Pied Piper (or Fil Dor)

With Fil Dor at 66/1 and 33/1 I’ve followed you on here, thanks for the idea!

                          Yeah,

Gordon needs to join Willies World of multiple entries in Cheltenham Grade 1 races......that way Gordon would start winning more of them.

If you've got two Triumph Hurdle favs,........so what?,
......... run both, two chances to win the race they're both suited to.

It shouldn't really need much thought.

I’ve always thought more should use the allowance to go for the Supreme if they have a juvenile they think good enough whilst having another good enough for the triumph.

Fair play to them if they go for both imo

                            • With normal ground at the festival it would make more sense for F'ils Dor to go supreme and PP triumph.
The ground will be softer for FD and PP has just won over course and distance on the bridle on better ground.
                              Both should go triumph though.

Was there today . Certainly looked pretty quick out there today. They weren't kicking up a divot. No way was it on the Soft side.
