If Fil Dor wasn't in the same ownership, but was still with Elliott, I don't think they'd be 4 points apart.
Agreed, price cut just after the in this world news.

pied piper is overpriced in my opinion, both he and Vauban ran a good fought out race at pubchestown. However I’d fancy Vauban to turn it around come the festival

I'm pretty sure he was very sore after beating Vauban.
No update as such, but Pied Pier is entered in a 4yo 2m novice hurdle at Navan on Saturday.

        Interesting

They may be trying to sneak 3 runs into him before March

          Cheers.

All must be well if he has that entry then I guess

This weekend, then naas the weekend after the DRF perhaps? A lot harder for one that isn’t a maiden!

If they are confident fil dor is better it may well be the plan to get him in the boodles

If he does get declared for Saturday I may part with a few pennies if the 20s is still there

That was me - doesn't take a lot to move these markets. Started moving the tanks on to the lawn at 16s yesterday and backed it til all the 14s had gone too. The move to 10s probably due to the non runner. Market still very underround.

Nowhere. Got an arrangement with a team of putters-on who get the money down for me in return for matching my stake - I advise and we split the amount we manage to get down 50/50. They do all the betting work and admin and I provide the bets.
Last one we did was Telmesomethinggirl at 6/1 in the Mares last Monday. Gavin Lynch tipped it up the next day at the remaining 5/1 and mentioned it was 6's the day before and forced it in some more.

                    • Just seen the architect on oddschecker tipped Vauban on Monday! Could also explain the sea of blue! Or Moby can claim it if he wants

Out of interest, also as a backer, what has made you decide that now was the time to get the lump down? I’ve not seen any fresh news apart from his DRF.

Nothing in particular, just spent a while looking at the race and the market. 16s looked far to big. Tend to spend a day at a time on a race and then back anything that looks out of line with my prices.

Interesting. Does the architect tend to have a big impact on the markets like the Upping the Ante guys?

At a guess I would say No. Andy Holding usually their main guy. But honestly don't know much about the Architect.
