I see Vauban and Pied Piper have both been given a 133rpr for their hurdles debut at Punchestown.
Fil Dor got 134 for his debut at Down Royal.
Vauban is far from out of this in my view - with better ground and the Cheltenham hill there is the potential for a big improvement.
And he's still 25-1 with 365.

If anyone has covered him cash out on any march bets.

….well he was included in one of the forum Yankees. Because it was 4 long shots I broke that up into separate bets so I’ve cashed the Matterhorn legs out with a bit of profit.Last edited by Eggs; 4 January 2022, 08:54 AM.

"if people really believe hurdles form counts when it comes to chasing I'm clearly in the wrong place.
Best of luck."
An interesting return

If anyone missed post race comments from GE after Pied Piper run.
"Pied Piper is a nice horse and I think there is an awful amount of improvement in him. I couldn't see him winning today and he hasn't even been away from home. He jumped well and probably travelled a bit too well early. He loved the ground and is one to look forward to. He's a big baby"

While I feel(or felt after my inital posts) there isn't much for me on the forum that doesn't mean I wouldn't let people know something that could save them some time/money if I can, I do tend to look in on most forums around christmas time, into Febuary as sometimes I might see something of interest that I may have missed.
FWIW I wouldn't put anyone away be it friend or total stranger so if that's a concern I'd happily match any bets on Matterhorn if he lined up on any ante post punts people may have cashed out after my post, I'd match them to the return as well not just the stake, don't feel I can say fairer than that, of course I'd need to see any bets first and would be happy to do this in person at cheltenham in march, or donate the stake/return to a charity if that's preferable.
Best wishes

….phew, hope that includes the ?1m roll up I cashed in from the forum longshots Yankee? That doesn’t include the doubles and trebles. Don’t forget, I was first to ask as I want to be top of your debtors list.

People can make their own mind up on acting on information like your post, just like to do my due dillegence when I don't know posters particularly well and felt it was worth highlighting/questioning...
...especially without a source being given, which I understand you may not be able to do - however of course would need treating with caution.
Best wishes to you too.
