  • Will never happen but you'd love a different jockey going forward.

He found several different ways to jump a hurdle poorly which makes me think they might have a job on their hands sorting him out.

And he needed to be kept up to his work to go the pace when they quickened turning into the straight.

Finished well but looks like he will improve for further given time.

Three of the last 4 winners have been Irish and I'd be surprised if Porticello gets one back for the home team.

in Reality, Goshen should of won in 2020 and we all know it. So not quite as Irish dominated this race.

He also wasn’t the best hurdler if I remember correctly in his early hurdle races, he was/still is a nutter.

Porticello has done that first time up in the UK giving weight in a listed race to race fit rivals. Think everyone can agree his hurdling needs to improve but he got the job done and definitely has an engine, I’d say it was very encouraging. Doesn’t matter how they get from A to B and still win, as long as they do

        • He's a play rather than a wait in my opinion. That race didn't suit him at all, and they'd have been better waiting and giving him experience around Cheltenham in November. They may go there now anyway with that run under his belt I suppose.

He was a bit all over the place with his jumping, but when they got racing he was very good. Whether he's another Goshen or not only time will tell, but we have enough evidence from France to back up yesterday in a race where everything was against him and he still won by 4 lengths pulling away from a bunch of reacefit previous winners.

The only minor concern is he took a while to pick up, and Jamie Moore had to get stuck into him. It could be laziness or greenness, so I'd like to see how he responds next time.

            • Awesome performance from fil d’or there considering the market confidence in sea sessions, absolutely pinged the 2nd last, really nice watch Davy didn’t have to move a muscle on him

              • I did chuckle when Sea Sessions jockey tried to box Davy in and he was having none of it. He did everything right there although I'd prefer to see him again before I made a decision on that.

                  • Yeah that was a very satisfying watch, couldn't have jumped or travelled better.

They slashed him in, didn’t they.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Jamie Moore!
