Vauban looked very decent there but seemed to jump slightly right but shouldn't be too much of a problem. Fil Dor slightly better than I thought he was but glad to see there's better horses than him. The 3rd is interesting - great debut over hurdles.

Fil Dor will be better for softer ground too. Obviously we don't know what we will get yet, but if it's soft on the Friday I think he's still a massive player. Way too soon to write him off.Comment

That was a really enjoyable race to watch!
If I was a Fil Dor backer beforehand, I wouldn't be upset with that, certainly not 'out of it'
However, the Pied Piper and Vauban fans can both be very, very happy!
Let's hope they all get there now.

Struggle to see how Fil Dor reverses form on any ground. Vauban raced wide, was novicey at times, was a tad keen and is the more inexperienced / open to the most improvement. Don't see any holes.Comment
