People can make their own mind up on acting on information like your post, just like to do my due dillegence when I don't know posters particularly well and felt it was worth highlighting/questioning...
...especially without a source being given, which I understand you may not be able to do - however of course would need treating with caution.
Best wishes to you too.
Honestly it's no problem at all, I hear more than most on certain subjects but gave up posting anywhere a long time ago as obviously it's all confidential but having seen the horses name pop up a few times while going through this thread I wanted to let people know.
I'll use the out for the season thread in future but felt the cheltenham race thread would probably be checked more often.
Many thanks for your reply Kev & good luck to you all.
Blue all over this evening, must have been word on some sort of article/podcast?
Paul Jones (used to write the Cheltenham Festival Betting Guide book for Weatherbys) put him up as a selection on his Cheltenham Ante-Post service today, may account for some of it
I see Impulsive One is declared for a flat race at Wolverhampton on Friday. Anyone shed any light on what this mans for the chances of him running in the Triumph? Does Nicky often run his Triumph horses on the flat 2 months before Cheltenham? Or does this mean there is no way he lines up in the Triumph. Not sure i've seen any quotes or comments about plans anywhere.
I have 2pts on him for the Triumph at 35/1, 1pt of which is a free bet and 1pt actual cash. Cashout is currently my 1pt cash back, so effectively I'd lose my free bet. Way i see it, i have 70/1 about him against my 1pt cash outlay. Whilst I dont have him as the winner of the Triumph, given he's finshed 2L and then 1L behind Knight Salute and a neck behind Porticello, who surely both have a squeak, I'd be happy to leave it at an effective 70/1, if of course he had even a fair chance of lining up. If this entry pretty much means he wont be running in the Triumph, then i would obvs cash out.
Just dont have the historical knowledge to know what this flat run means...
(Could be Boodles bound as well of course, if this flat run doesnt preclude Cheltenham...)

Lot of USA in his breeding.
Looks like they just fancy his chances on the all weather.
Entered at Kempton day after also.
I'd watch for comments after the race. It's unlikely the bookies will be keeping too much eye on it.

OK, ta. So not ruled out then. Maybe do some of that hovering I hear about, though not sure how he actually runs is gonna inform my decision. Its the fact that he is running at all that provides the decision point, and I already have that info. PP could go NRNB at any moment and suspend ante post cash outs, right, so I need to stick or twist ASAP really.
Looks like he needs good ground doesn't he. Guess they're or the opinion he's not going to get many juvenile hurdle opportunities on good ground for a while.
Could also be protecting his mark for the Boodles mind. 127 probably get him in towards the bottom there. I'd imagine he was more likely there then the Triumph but it's a pure guess.
