Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Statuaire came 6th (behind Sir G) at DRF in the same race GDC finished 6th in last year before going on to win at the Festival.
I thought the same, but she seems to be drifting as well for some reason! I've started hitting Elle Est Belle instead, as the more and more I look at this race she's started to become the standout horse for me.

    • There's a bit on betfair to lay at 14.0 if anyone wants it.....

          • It's sort of stabilised on BEX - 10s to back 14's to lay. Stay of execution? Traders dicking around? Or storm in a tea cup?

Its the only way to approach it imo. The feeling of her running and winning after you'd cashed out your 33/1 slip would be x100 times worse than losing your stake.

Now if i'd backed her at 8/1 then i'd cash and re back at 3s or 4s if I found out the rumours were false, but the gap from 33/1 to 3/1 is way too big to be cashing out down to these rumours.

Totally with you on this. I'd lose sleep if that happened and lost the potential winnings.

                  • Gotta be some market manipulation going on here... It's all over the place. Back into 6.4 now?!

Who needs Netflix when you can watch a betting exchange?

                        • Could easily be someone playing silly buggers

Very little liquidity in that market

                          • Agreed on the betfair part of things. But there was also loads of blue on Oddschecker for the next 4 or 5 in the market so either a number of different bookmakers had taken lots of bets on other horses or a number of them got a message from somewhere and cut various prices - and obviously that part is more more difficult to manipulate. Still not sure what to conclude from that - the sort of patterns consistent with finding out from Willie that she's had a little knock and we're not sure how severe it is yet.....

                            • Can't verify this, but have had a text from a mate who's heard that Allegorie has a small injury, which I quote 'might clear up in time'.

                              • If allegorie is injured and elle est belle goes to Aintree all iv got left is brandy love and she looks less than reliable

                                not ideal
