I know mentioned a few months back - but any love for Belle Metal at 66/1?

Tough race over the weekend so might not travel but if she does 66s looks a massive price. If not, NRNB.

Clearly a very good mare ans I dont think this race has great depth to it.

She was 66/1 NRNB after Saturday. I pondered and then missed the price. She has an engine and the course should suit but think she already needs further than 2 miles.

I'd cover her if she did turn up.

I think Mullins will let her take her chance alongside his other 6 in the race. Looks like she takes a lot of getting fit so last weekends race would have put her spot on. Remember the MNH is not until the Thursday so she has more time to recover.

He did say she's the type that needs plenty of racing so wouldn't rule it out.

He'll probably just send them all there anyway, he always has a massive battalion when he can

Maybe, but there's a much better and more valuable programme for Mares now, so I suspect we'll never see full battalion coming here again.

FWIW I think he'll either run four or five. Dinoblue, Brandy Love, Grangee are surely nailed on. Then either Bring On The Night or Hors Piste for the Donnelly's. La Prima donna would also be a chance of coming here for Kenny Alexander to have a runner. Statuaire could come here, but I think she'll turn up in the County Hurdle off a handy looking mark for a Grade 1 winning novice, and Belle Metal will be kept fresh for something else.

Think it may be worth taking the 50s Antepost for Dinoblue to win the 2023 Champion Hurdle. Mares have had a great recent record in the race, and may only have Honeysuckle to beat next year. JP loves to have a Champion Hurdle horse and if she hacks up in the Mares Novice I doubt they will want to step her up in trip all that much, whereas Brandy Love looks nailed on to go Mares Hurdle next year, and ADV will go chasing I would imagine.

She has never run for Willie Mullins, which is interesting, but I wouldn’t put anyone off Night And Day. She does work well and I wouldn’t be surprised if Willie ran her. I wouldn’t think she is a 50-1 shot in that event.

Was given a mention by him on the PP preview also. He seemed to say her a little in jest at first but then went on and say she'd have a chance. Was cut from 100/1 pretty soon after
