Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Typed in my own clever emoji name for brandy love but my own emojis aren't allowed

Cashout makes people into Scattergun punters. If they completely ditched it, then we would have to be a lot more astute again.

Cashout can make people Scattergun but if used properly, it’s an invaluable tool that every good punter would always make use of.

Yep. No doubt you play a different strategy if you have it or if you don’t. But absolutely nothing wrong with using it to your advantage

I'd say absolutely use it to your advantage but be prepared to have a strategy for when it doesn't exist because just about FJ will have accounts restricted/closed and there may come a day you don't have that facility any longer...

Ferny Hollow was going in and out by a few points in the hours before his injury was known. Imagine this will last longer before news given the lesser owners

We are the better for it, but I acknowledge, in my view, it hasnt made me a better punter, just a more profitable one, backing more horses because cashout is there.

This year of course, thats rather changed as bet365 react on any rumour or whiff of a different race being considered by removing cashout, which is diluting the usefulness of offering it in the first place.

Agreed, it’s certainly not the same weapon as in previous years but it’s still useful enough to be part of your arsenal. The change in strategy from Bet365 must mean it’s becoming less profitable for them to offer the concession.

I will continue to use it so long as I have access to an account as, without it, my casual approach becomes too expensive to pursue.

                        • Fecking about with cash out is really not worth risking a Denise account for IMO.
