Have Allegorie covered at 25s and brandy love at 8s and just topped up some more on Brandy Love, I'd say she will be the one aslong as she doesn't become too much of a monkey.

Hoped they would have pushed Brandy Love out after that. As I would have backed if a decent price.
But understandable I guess.
Have a feeling she may have the most ability of all of Mullins mares. But she's a risky prospect. And may well find the 2 miles a little too sharp.

Delighted with todays result though.
I have no issue with the 5lb. It's had no bearing on any of the Mares Novices run to date.
And glad she won.

ADV will get a 5lb penalty for that win also when she lines up for the MNH. I think Brandy Love still great value if she can even slightly fix her jumping to the left

I'd have Brandy Love odds on for Cheltenham after that. Must have lost 20 lengths plus pulling left. Crazy race !

Brandy Love looks a hard ride over then hurdles, unfortunately, but would have gone close otherwise.

Brandy hasn’t drifted much at all which is a shame. Will watch and then decide what to do, she’s not going to shorten much so price should hold.

As Jono has said as well I’m not too fussed with a 5lbs penalty (although seems harsh for a Grade 3 win). She’s a big old mare, who’ll surely relish the stiff old course.

Bringing in all the experience from France and then a touch of WPM is looking good now.

After the Solerina I don't think we have a stand out novice mare this year. Statuaire and Impervious have to come into consideration as well.

I had higher hopes for Grangee at the start of the season, but it does look like she is down the pecking order, although in another yard, she'd be close to the stable star.

Brandy loves jumping appeared to go further left as the race went on. I don’t recall her doing that on debut? Got wildly left especially the second last, she looked a tough ride today.

Allegorie was eased down which I liked to see when they’ve been given a slap, responded and put the race to bed and then eased down to the line. Don’t get me wrong had Brandy Love jumped straight she would have had to work harder for the win but that’s no stick to knock Allegorie imo.

Hard to know what to take from that, not backing Brandy Love right now, no point, surely can’t take too many positives? Yes cheltenham is left handed, but that was very wild at times. Now will be interesting to see who Townened chooses at Cheltenham, surely has to be Allegorie after that? Unless they thing they’ve sorted Brandy Loves jumping at Cheltenham.
