I have tried to assume the role since he came to stay with us to escape the west country gang feuds of the 90s. The word "dad" only slipped out for the first time this year though, and im not ashamed to say we both choked up a tad.

It'd be a very dark room, that's for sure.
We'd just hear the odd blurt followed by high pitched squeals.
It would also be shrouded with an intense feeling of annoyance, nescience and obliviousness.

It'd actually be quite scary.
Like Blairwitch with horses.

They're going to stare at each other for a few seconds, both take a really deep breath, Lobo's will offer his hand, another few seconds pause and then Kev will say "HANDSHAKE?!" (In his finest "My Drogo" voice)

Not sure why but this made me laugh out loud !!

I remember his debut so well, thinking he was going to go on to be the Supreme winner, then follow up in a Champion Hurdle for many years to come. Slickest novice hurdle debut I can recall.

The 5lb penalty is for Class 1 winners not just Grade 1 winners. Her G3 win has already earned the penalty.
