Flooring Porter has seen some cash this week which is a shame as I was hoping to go back in on him after today. Think Thyme Hill will come on a tonne whereas I can't say the same for Champ. Lovely that he'll take all the money now.

        • Stats are against him but he won well.

          • He’s a proper stayer, the type that should relish a stayers hurdle that’s for sure.

Not sure what race you just watched tbh hahaha

On ability champ is one of the best horses in training what holds him back is his jumping

If he turns up in that form here I really don't see what beats him tbh

              • You're really going some to make that result look a positive for Flooring Porter... And I'm on him and not TH or Champ.

                  • Not on Champ in any way but that definitely makes it interesting, looked like he was carrying a fair bit of condition too so no reason why there's not a decent bit more to come. Front of the market is a horse you'd want decent odds just on turning up at a spring festival, Flooring Porter who is a total fruitcake, Thyme Hill who you suspect will probably keep finding one or more too good. Buzz unfortunately now out of the running. I still wont be getting involved at 4/1 but I wouldn't be in any sort of rush to rule Champ out after that.

He has an issue with jumping a fence, but that was an impressive round of jumping today back over hurdles

yep agree champ looked like he'd eaten all the mince pies at 7 barrows. I was impressed as thyme hill pulled alongside at the last and champ finished the stronger.

he more than likely goes here and best horse on the day for me int he race. you can make a case others will improve but based on his condition I think champ will as well

                        • This race is just a massive lottery now... The leading contenders are a two nutjobs and Champ with recurring back issues (and also hasn't been confirmed to be staying over hurdles...). I wouldn't be confident of 1 of them turning up let alone all three.

Thyme Hill is the safe bet and will give you a run for your money but would expect there to be a better horse on the day. Think I'll stay away from this market for now!

                          • Thank god I got 20/1 on Champ for the stayers, I only put the bet on an hour before that race started.
I'm pretty happy with that run, won from a break and I think Champ will improve more from that run plus the horse kept on going.
I've only done commander of fleet and Champ for this and they are the only 2 I'm only doing for this race.

                              I meant over fences

                              His hurdling is fine

Iv not got a penny on him either

                              • Paisley Park stayed on from nowhere today for 3rd , up the hill on testing ground can see him placing at least , still 40/1 with B365, seems to be improving his form with racing this year , obviously needs an extreme trip and on good ground will be out paced , but i can have a few quid on as cover
