That Aintree race he finished second in was a glorified group 3/2
The stayers division isn’t strong and needs fresh faces, there are far worse shorter prices options in the current market…

I'd say he has a good shot at being a proper grade 1 horse, at 155 he's currently rated 7lbs behind Thyme Hill. Buzz has raced mainly over 2 miles but was finishing strongly over two and a half at Aintree, then again finished strongly in the Cesarewitch so 3 miles could easily bring out further improvement. And at 33/1 I'm happy to pay to find out.

“We can look at all the nice races over hurdles now. He’s turned a corner this summer and is more relaxed now.
“I was confident earlier in the week because of the ground, but then it started drying out. We just got away with it.
“He’s got all the big targets now – he’s a proper Grade Two/Grade One horse over hurdles. The race at Aintree is for him – he’s got a huge future.
“Most importantly, 25 per cent of the prize-money goes to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.”

Aintree is a speed track, horses who accelerate there can be mistaken for stayers, but Buzz could have both skillsets...

He was ridden to get the trip at Aintree on his first try beyond 2 miles so was a decent effort. He and BV knocked em bandy on saturday and i've no doubts in my mind he'll stay 3 miles . Stayers'hurdles can be slowly run affairs anyway.
