I think we called it. He's just not to be trusted.

    • I’d have both of them as big players come March.
Great to see PP back on form, his last race told us that could happen.

        • Great to see Paisley win, though I think it’s says more about Champ than Paisleys chance of winning stayers.

"I hope the owners watching on TV from his hospital bed"

              • What a race, how can you not love that! Lucky they didn’t go any pace for the first couple of miles though.

Wont get away with a start like that at the festival with Flooring Porter in the line up though.

                    • Unbelievable. 2 out when he was on their tails you could see it happening. Champ didn't seem to travel as well as last time but did get away from Paisley half way up the hill bur not many horses can motor up the hill like Paisley.

Champ now 9/2 with B365. Paisley down to 11/2.

                          • Champ has won beating Thyme Hill and Paisley this season.
Paisley has beaten Champ this season
KD has beaten FP this season and just run disappointingly.
Personally I would not be confident about any of them winning, equally I would not dismiss any of them.
But one of them should win.

                              Absolute mind boggler isn't it

One of the 4 will almost certainly win

But I really couldn't tell you which one

Champ looked very one paced today, kd fell in a hole after being too keen

                              • Flooring Porter the only one that’s done no wrong. Well he did he fell on seasonal debut but taking into account their most recent runs, champs ceiling would appear to be similar to TH, I don’t see him being able to break into the 170 bracket which could be needed to win. I don’t see any reason to say he’s not run his race today, and PP has gave about 20 lengths away at the start and beat him.

Klassical dream if in his Leopardstown/punchestown form is a huge player. But would you trust him after he’s ran a shocker for seemingly no reason? He’d be big player and one I’d want on side thought. But I think if he hadn’t poached a lead on flooring Porter at Xmas the result could have easily been the other way around between those two, they seem very closely matched. They both went hard that day and it seems giving FP a bit of a low off now to get over it could have been a smart decision.

FP is a rightful fav IMO and I’m surprised to see him not a little bit shorter after today’s result
