Problem I personally would have with that is what performance he’s going to put in on the day.
One we know he’s capable of or one like that today.
Im on Champ at big odds and would be quiet happy to have KD as a cover, but not sure 5 after watching that today appeals to be honest.
I think they felt that they could run round and collect yesterday. He'd probably had quite an easy time since Leopardstown.
If they get him back firing he'll take all the beating here and if they don't, I doubt that he'll travel.
"I wanted to get another run into Klassical Dream in the John Mulhern Galmoy Hurdle and change tactics but the horse took over and just ran too free. There was possibly a bit of a bounce factor and maybe we gave him too much of a break after Christmas. We’ll see but I think we’ll have him right for Cheltenham."
Have to say, as a backer.... very happy with that update from Willie on SL today....that nothing is wrong!
So they'll be trying to hold up KD at the Fez then if he makes it. Oh dear.
Flooring Porter fans will be more than happy with that. Dominate from the front again and run away with it.

I'm assuming they tried that now so they won't try it next time...

I'm assuming the opposite as they failed to hold him up and it didn't work. Perhaps they'll stick a blindfold on him next time.
let's face it......he's a nutter and can't be trusted

Yes that’s definitely what he meant, was obvious they were trying to ride it with more restraint and probably trying to sit in behind something. Basically to see if the tactics would work taking a lead from flooring Porter. The horse was having non of it and you could see him with his low head carriage pulling wanting to go quicker and expending energy which ultimately cost him at the business end of the race. Clearly going back to what worked at Xmas for Cheltenham. Porter is going to be wise to him stealing a lead this and they’re going to take each other on at a crazy pace and probably set the race up perfect for champ

That's exacly what I keep thinking will happen. Could be the RSA 2.0. I'm probably thinking about a race from 2 years ago far too much, but it is hard to shake that thought.
