She's better suited to running on the new course, what with the low number of hurdles to negotiate over the last 6 or 7 furlongs. Question remains whether she would get 3 miles or not.

She's one you can probably watch and decide mid race on her return whether to cash out or not if her jumping has not improved. Personally think they'll end up sticking to the flat with her and the Cup races.

She is getting to be a valuable Mare with a high Flat rating.

Not sure why this keeps getting pointed out.
They are going to try to make her a grade 1 hurdler.
She'll either be good enough or not.
If not, they can run her in the Summer.
Saturday will be a big test for her.
I doubt there will be any cashing out in running though, as they will be suspended for sure. Hope not though.

The point I make is that she is better (so far) on the Flat where money, prestige and breeding value is more plentiful.

Winning a Graded Handicap Hurdle is good too though.

Could be the moment she finds her Hurdles mojo off 143.

She wouldn't have a great deal of breeding value on the flat really, she's a bit slow for that

The 5 year old thing would put me off.
And his dad.
Pertemps more likely, but even then his mark (IRE 143) don't look too attractive and the adagio link won't help his UK mark.
Interesting to see if and how he runs Saturday though. His flat runs were underwhelming.
The attraction to him is the one run in an odd race at Cheltenham.

As I mentioned in my post on November 17th regards duffle coat, delta work is the only 5 yr old to win pertemps in 30 years and that was as a novice and off 139.
as you quite rightly point out duffle coat is already rated 143 by the Irish handicapper. Davy Russell rides Saturday.
I'm expecting a run Saturday which would probably see duffle coat tried in grade 1 company over Xmas, or maybe the relkeel in New year.
2 wins in those races and duffle coat is single figures for the stayers.
