Interesting watching second episode of Upping the Ante re Buzz. Gavin was singing his praises re staying the trip but DJ was at Henderson's stable last week and he intimated that Hendo thinks he might have too much pace for a Stayers Hurdle.

I've backed him tomorrow, plenty of question marks about the others IMO.

MAy not be far enough for him also and they'd prefer the ground softer but I'm still interested how he performs when things aren't in his favour.

I've taken 66/1. Is it value?? Dunno. Twisting hasn't namechecked the race and he hasn't proved himself outside of handicaps. If he beats the Buzz horse today then ask me again. I like him a lot though and his Cheltenham handicap form giving lumps away is red hot so he has every chance of making the step up imo.

I quite liked that from Buzz, never looked in doubt and reacted well enough when asked by Nico. Seemed to suggest he would get 3m too, be interesting to see if they bring him back here for a try over that distance in December perhaps?

I bet Henderson mentions speed and even the Champion for Buzz.
But he definitely switches off nicely for a stayer.
He only came on the bridle as they quickened.

Absolutely loved that from Buzz. Expected him to win but not quite as easy as he did. Think he’s a massive player in this now and I’ve not much doubt he’ll get the 3 miles either.

Yep hard not to be taken by that. 10/1 would be an OK price if I wasn't worried Hendo might not go here. Not sure where else they can go to be honest. Surely they wouldn't go Champion Hurdle? But Hendo mentioning speed all the time puts me off.
