Flooring Porter tomorrow, Sunday at Navan which most will know. I only realised 5 minutes ago that Thyme Hill is out at Auteuil this afternoon, 2.50, in case most were unaware. Can he floor the top French hotpot?
Best race of the day.
If he can give 5lb to a 182 ! rated horse then the handicapper is going to wet himself.
His price will also crash as all the French form boys will be besides themselves.
If he does topple their superstar then he'll go very short for this. Very much doubt he can though. Its an odd move for them to go to France. Very odd and one that could backfire imo.
He'd have to win at least 2 grade 1 races over here to get the same as coming second over there (and he might win) cos lets face it, that other horse ain't a 182 rating is he ?. And the space between this and the Long walk is better
Not that odd really.
More common sense.

Yep, all about the money. We'll see. Its not gone well for others that have travelled over the water in the past.
If true, what's wrong with that? He missed this years festival, there's no guarantee he'll be sound for the next one or go close even if he is. They may as well have a go while they can, i'm amazed more don't exploit the French prizes, especially the Southern based trainers.

UK & Irish have won 3 of the last 10, but recent years the horses they've sent have been below the top class. Like Aubusson & Agrapart.
If Willie started earlier with more horses then he'd have probably won 3 or 4 more himself. He seems to have stopped sending them in the last few years.
The French Champion hurdle (after Cheltenham) I think is 6/10 to UK & Irish or something like that.
Wow, that race Thyme Hill is in looks proper class, going to give it a watch as l'autonomie is a proper proper horse if he can beat her no idea what his price will be for this

Fortunately Flooring Porter got up seemingly fine. Hope he's ok. Traded 1.48 before falling and I think he would have kept finding no problem the way he does.
With the exception of the fall, I thought he was gonna cruise clear then - I'm satisfied with that reappearance (i.e. I thought it was excellent except the fall!) Am I being stupid in thinking that?
