They were thinking going Novice Chasing with him but maybe they'll have a rethink now. I do like his profile for the race and at 6 in March he's a good age. If he does go the Wholestone route and is successful, he could end up one of the top rated horses come March. I like him. As you say, at 66"s with cashout, what's not to like .

He's not going to be high profile enough to get cut beforehand you'd have thought?

If Twister puts him in in the two and half mile hurdle on New Years Day there's a fair chance you'll get a run for your money Lobos. If he doesn't cash it out.
If he then enters him on trials day I'll probably add him to my book.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

I'm interested to see how Indefatigable gets on at Wetherby on Saturday. She was being aimed at this race last year but they switched to the Mares' hurdle. She'd obviously have to bounce back from a pretty disappointing season last year but she has that all important course form. Most likely a place chance at best but one I'll be keeping an eye on.

Have backed Thomas Darby for the Stayers though at 33's. Prices aren't as nice as they were last year but he is being aimed at it this year and again has that course form.

I had him last year at 50s I think, less options for me this year but have added in a small patent at 40s.
I feel he’s a horse that one solid performance could see that price crash to single digits so it makes sense to get him onside now…

To be fair the Champion Hurdle doesn't line up as the strongest race outside of Honeysuckle. Credible challengers to her are hardly lining up, and possibly the only one in Ferny Hollow is seemingly going over fences.
That was a nice enough run yesterday, and it'll be good to see how he fares outside his own age group as the season progresses. Ask yourself the question if you owned him, so surely he'll be campaigned towards the Champion Hurdle.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.
