    He'll take a world of beating but his lack of chase experience against proper horses is a small concern...
    I reckon we could have the fav of 2/3 novice chases and 2/3 novice hurdles all after having only 2 runs prior. far from ideal IMO. Perhaps Elliott will reap the rewards of getting his out early, regardless of what the ground was doing.

    • Apologies if already been discussed, has anyone taken any cover on BMG for this race?

      Like most i'd hope he goes to the BANC but as some cover for Bob in this he's as big as 16/1 on skybet. Low as 6/1 on 365...

            Probably in readiness of him romping home at the DRF, hopefully, anyway

            • Interesting sky also use Bob as part of their boost with shishkin. Could also be expecting the switch from GDC

                • Can someone please show me a single shread of evidence or quote or anything that would suggest GDC goes to the Turners? I can't find anything other than Hislop creating a story on her show.

                  • Looks to have been a bit of money for Jungle Boogie for this

                      I would think it's largely down to the fact he has ran once this season over 2m 5f and will run again at the weekend over the same distance. Of course he has won over 3m so clearly has the stamina but equally he as evidenced he has the speed to win over 2m 4f at the Festival.

                      I can see the appeal of trying to run them ragged over 2m 4f and taking down Bob Olinger. Mullins may think he is capable of doing that and leaves the RSA/Brown open for the likes of Capodanno

                        Just a few tinpot firms shortening and others cutting alongside as far as I can see. Plenty shortening up in with lower quality bookies and wouldn't say Jungle Boogie was a standout.

                          Indeed. The Hislop effect certainly has created some hysteria (myself included in this), having laid my stake and backed for the Turners to be on the safe side if the worst did actually happen. It doesn't help that the prices are shortening per Jim's post above referring to Powers but think/hope it's all just smoke and mirrors.

                          I still just keep reassuring myself with the fact that Mullins will go for the easier option (i.e. the RSA and not taking on Bob Olinger) - he will....he surely will....won't he?

                            A simple look at SW's Willie planning will show everyone that he simply doesn't run them at the 3m distance in the races prior to the Fez;

                                Ever been any quotes he's going to the RSA? Genuine question...
