Not a great sign for the Capo NHC bets?

Yeah slight concern, however, Carefully selected ran and won It, ran in a 3m chase few weeks later and won to qualify and ran in the NHC that year! So let's hope Mullins sticks to his habits!

…..certainly not. Considering some cash outs.

Of those two I think I’d be more likely to cash out GDM with that entry. Will wait & see if he’s declared.

BO will lap him, and can’t see any reason for him to reverse form with Capodanno.

So coming 3rd doesn’t strike me as BANC winning form, which is what I’ve backed him for.

I'd take it as an encouraging sign for the NH chase for exactly this reason.
Less encouraging for stattler backers though, who looks more likely to go Dublin now.

I'd also wait for the race and back him for it after as well, hopefully a hammering by Bob and he may drift slightly.
The prices don't seem to reflect the qualifying but they may react to a defeat.
Obviously if he wins, then i wouldn't back him as I'd imagine they'd re track him then.

If GDM gets beat I'm hoping they've entered in the stayers today, just in case.
                Probably not though.
                I'll soon know.

Was just various sources on twitter, your wee lad Josh was one of them.

Given how much GDM came on for the run last season theres every reason to think he could reverse form with capodanno

That’s true, and is the only reason I didn’t fully cash out after the run.

Just don’t think the improvement is going to come until he is stepped up in trip.

Id be happy with a plodding on second to Bob definitely

                          • Missed out a ton of fences at Leicester due to the low sun, Dusart jumped a fair bit to his left on each of the ones we could see from the head on, at least once massively so. Only 2 horses left in it by the end, not exactly impressive but still wins.

                            • His jumping was rubbish imo

Not for me at all at this stage

                              • Yeah, not impressed enough with Dusart to keep the bet, despite the price coming in.

                                Looked as though he'd prefer 3m than 2 1/2.
