Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

        • Gordon seems keen on Itswhatunitesus' chances in The Goffs bumper. It would be interesting if he turns over Facile Vega on Saturday. Taken from his latest stable tour on attheraces:

"He is likely to run in the Goffs Future Stars Flat Race. He was impressive when he made a winning debut at Navan back in December and his work since then has been very good. We think he’s a proper horse and are looking forward to running him at this higher level".

          • Significant move for Pink In the Park this morning with PP/Betfair. Into 11's from 14's. Mullins Bumper team being assembled.

They were a standout 14/1 before and now just in line so not sure it's hugely significant?

Not hugely...but significant all the same as it's PP and someone's obviously had a good nibble. Spectre loves her to bits and expects her to be a player. I have to agree . She seems to have been the forgotten horse.

You have to say that the form of here race is shockingly bad, yes she did win very well and she will probably do well at the weekend in mares company. But against the geldings she will be completely put in her place.

They were shocked at how well she won when she did and running in September isn't the sign of a top horse for Willie at all.

She will be one of the top ones for the race this weekend but she wont stand a chance vs Facile Vega and Redemption Day who the Mullins team thing are much better

                  • Probably just the standard pre race cuts that have occurred throughout the season in preparation for people backing her before running Sunday

Cracking price if you don't have him onside.

Yep. He's another that has been super impressive in both his runs. The Novices next season are going to be just as hard to place and to predict where they'll end up. I'm definitely hitting the TWAR button more often next year even if the prices first appear cramped. Saves all the flapping about.

Exactly what I said to a pal of mine, worth going TWAR on the ones you fancy plenty definitely and then maybe have a punt on the race you favour most also.

Must be a fairly long list of J M Mullin's bumper winners that flatter to deceive after looking the second coming on their debut......i guess this could be an outlier..

The problem is the TWAR prices are abysmal.

I played a good few last year and they were reasonable value. This year I haven’t backed one. The ones that even have you going for a second look, are shocking.

So next year how much worse are they going to be again?

                              • You need to get on as soon as they are made available but there were several decent ones that were on show before this season started if you ignore the obvious like Sir G and Kilcruit .

Journey with Me, Dysart Dynamo, Jonbon, Ginto, Mighty Potter, Hollow Games, Geri Colombe, Eric Bloodaxe and more were all around 14's early doors.
