          • Sets the benchmark you'd have thought for this race now. Be a while before we see Mullins' best though.

            • Nothing better than the jockey having a look behind when the horse is coasting and we got 2 of them! Easy as you like.

                  • Happy with the way Amercan Mike went about that, the rpr be out Monday? Glad to have got him in the book early and I guess we might learn a little more next time and maybe they'll tuck him away after that.

                          • Sounds like same route as Sir G (even if not as speedy!)

"He might not just have the speed Sir Gerhard (last year's winner) had, but he's a proper horse and I'd imagine we would go to Navan next for a graded bumper," said Elliott.

                            Codd’s view:

"Noel and Valerie (Moran) have invested in Gordon's and he came from a good academy in Sean Doyle's. He won his point-to-point really well and his work at home had been really, really good. Gordon aims his nicer horses here and he's nice." Jamie Codd on 4/7 fav American Mike

                            • Need to see what RP Rating he gets now, i suspect it will be very good

                              • Nice start from American Mike and no surprise to see his odds contract significantly. I’m still in the Cool Survivor camp but Gigginstown have previously avoided the Festival bumper so that could put a spanner in the works. Of course there will be plenty of others to show their hand all the way until January so I’ll leave American Mike alone at that price and take my medicine.
