I’m pretty sure that Jonjo said he was going hurdling after his win. This was in his RP stable tour. Can someone confirm?

“Springwell Bay was second in the Goffs Land Rover Bumper at Punchestown and is going quite nicely ahead of his run at Market Rasen on Thursday. You'd hope he'd go close in a bumper before going on to better things.”

6g Sunday Break - South Africa
The Four Bosses
F1/422-1
RPR 126h OR 123h
He seems over the issues he had last year and it was nice to see him win the way he did at Hereford. Hopefully he can improve a bit on that and we'll look for another little race over hurdles.
Annie Mc
7m Mahler - Classic Mari
Coral Champions Club
119/7511-
RPR 153c OR 148c
We thought she might struggle to improve last season but she found her niche in those mares' races. She had a setback just before Cheltenham but it was probably a blessing as the ground was drying up at the time. She's 100 per cent now and will probably have the same sort of campaign, targeting those Listed chases for mares over two and a half miles.
Any Givin Sunday
5g Califet - My Valley
Mrs Fitri Hay
149-1
RPR 105h OR -
He won nicely at Huntingdon last month on his first start for us and you'd be hopeful he could win another novice hurdle with a penalty.
Arrivederci
6g Martaline - Etoile D'Ainay
Martin Broughton & Friends 1
1/1F023-
RPR 140h OR 140h
He had a wind operation a couple of weeks ago and you won't see him until after Christmas. He reached a decent level over hurdles but jumps fences well at home and he'll go novice chasing now. He'll be competing at a good level if he can put his issues behind him.
An Tailliur
5g Authorized - Dirama
P Hickey
11111U
RPR 130h OR 125h
Good ground has helped him this summer and he's in a good frame of mind. He was unlucky when unseating at the first at Cheltenham on Friday but he's absolutely fine. He's gone up 31lb since May and he's going to stop improving at some stage but we'll keep going while the ground stays dry.
Carys' Commodity
6g Fame And Glory - Native Sunrise
Mrs Fitri Hay
1/4114-F
RPR 139c OR 136c
He had a wind op after running at Doncaster last season and was being prepared for the Coral Cup when he fractured his leg at home. He's done well to come back and was unlucky when falling at the last on his chase debut at Stratford. He's schooled since and seems fine, so we'll try again. He should go well in a similar race.
Cloth Cap and Tom Scudamore jump the final fence of the Ladbrokes Trophy
Edward Whitaker (racingpost.com/photos)
Cloth Cap
9g Beneficial - Cloth Fair
Exors Of The Late Trevor Hemmings
8/311P-4
RPR 164c OR 154c
We went to the Grand National full of confidence last season, but for whatever reason his epiglottis popped up and Tom Scudamore did the right thing in pulling him up. We've had that sorted and Tom said he didn't hear anything at all on his comeback last month, so that's good news. I thought he ran a cracker and he should come on for the run physically and mentally. He's not as well handicapped as last year but we'll go for the Ladbrokes Trophy again next. If he jumps and travels like last year he's still going to take a bit of catching. The National was the plan when Trevor [Hemmings] was with us and I don't see any reason to change it.
Coeur Serein
7g Fame And Glory - Balvenie
Andy Ralph
411-14F
RPR 145c OR 142c
He was unlucky to crumple at the last when leading at Lingfield having jumped really well. He's consistent, slowly improving and hopefully he can go close next time with a clear round.
Fame And Concrete
5g Fame And Glory - Masiana
P Hickey
17-
RPR 120b OR -
He came back wrong from his run at Warwick last season but he'd won his bumper well at Southwell before that and goes novice hurdling now. Staying is his forte and he's a nice horse.
Flight Deck
7g Getaway - Rate Of Knots
John P McManus
0/1/F14-1
RPR 133h OR 133h
He's an in-and-out character. We schooled him over fences and thought he'd be brilliant last season but we took him to Huntingdon and he didn't want to know. He makes up his own mind but he enjoyed stepping up to three miles when winning on his comeback at Wetherby and will probably go to Haydock on Saturday.
Garry Clermont
6g Maresca Sorrento - Kalidria Beauchene
Mrs C M Walsh
15/653-1
RPR 139h OR 137h
He's a nice horse but has had lots of little issues. The plan is chasing this season but we'll start him back over hurdles at Ascot on Friday. He had a couple of runs over fences last season and was quite novicey but another year on his back won't hurt and he looks like a chaser.
Iron Bridge
5g Milan - Chit Chat
Exors Of The Late Trevor Hemmings
1-1
RPR 123h OR -
He likes soft ground and we were pleased with how he won at Ffos Las on his first run over hurdles last month. We'll probably run him under a penalty and then get him qualified for the EBF Final. He's done everything right and has potential but I'd say the ground is important to him.
Kilbrook
6g Watar - Daly Lady
Delancey & Mrs Jonjo O'Neill
33/2P6-1
RPR 129c OR 123c
He jumped well when winning on his chase debut at Carlisle. He's not out of the ordinary but will win his races and we'll look for another handicap next.
Limetree Boy
5g Shirocco - Bells Glory
M J Gaskell
3
RPR 120h OR -
He's a nice horse and ran a lovely race on his debut at Aintree. He travelled and jumped well before getting tired and should come on for that. We'll go down the novice hurdle route and he does everything right.
Maypole Class
7g Gold Well - Maypole Queen
Delancey
P/011PP-P
RPR 130c OR 128c
Ground is key – he wants it soft. He was overfaced in the Plate at Cheltenham in March and the ground was too quick at Aintree. We'll start back in calmer waters. He's got an engine and is well capable of winning a good race if everything falls right.
Monbeg Genius
5g Shantou - Ella Watson
Barrowman Racing Limited
2-1
RPR 111h OR -
He's a grand horse and toughed it out to win at Ffos Las on his first start for us. We'll look for a novice hurdle on soft ground over two and a half miles under a penalty but we won't be rushing him. He should make a nice chaser in time.
Dark horse
Morning Spirit
6g Milan - Morning Legend
P Hickey
3135-2F
RPR 131h OR 129c
He just took his eye off the ball when he fell at Aintree on his chase debut but he's schooled well since and I think he's going to improve for fences. He enjoys his jumping and should do well in three-mile chases.
Orrisdale
7g Oscar - Back To Loughadera
Miss Katharine J Holland
B4233-F
RPR 132c OR 129c
He's an unlucky horse. He did everything right at Newton Abbot on his return but fell at the last. He's none the worse and we're looking forward to running at Market Rasen on Thursday.
Palmers Hill
8g Gold Well - Tosca Shine
John P McManus
1/2/409-1
RPR 139c OR 134c
He was a bit disappointing when we tried him over fences at Taunton last season but it was nice to see him win at Wetherby on Saturday. I was pleased with his jumping and we'll probably look for a similar race again. Hopefully he's over his hiccups and we get a clear run.
Papa Tango Charly
6g No Risk At All - Chere Elenn
Martin Tedham & Wasdell Properties Ltd
24/2-311
RPR 144c OR 138c
A big horse who's taken time to fill his frame. I was surprised he won as well as he did on his chase debut at Carlisle. It's a bit early in the season to be getting too excited but his jumping was good. We'll stick to two and a half miles for the time being and see how high he can go. Chasing is his game and it's onwards and upwards.
Quartz Du Rheu
6g Konig Turf - Lady Akara
John P McManus
451121
RPR 131c OR 129c
He loves fast ground and has done well through the summer, although he's been winning weak races. The step up to three miles has helped and he'll keep going while the ground stays dry but he wouldn't be one for the winter.
Shantou's Melody
5g Shantou - Glens Melody
Perfect Strangers Partnership
251-
RPR 115b OR -
He won his bumper well last season and will start over hurdles in the next couple of weeks. He's definitely got ability but still has some growing to do and will be even nicer next year. He doesn't want any extremes of ground and will start off at two miles but should get further.
Sky Pirate beats Entoucas to win the 2021 Grand Annual
Edward Whitaker (racingpost.com/photos)
Sky Pirate
8g Midnight Legend - Dancingwithbubbles
Martin Tedham & Wasdell Properties Ltd
51121-2
RPR 161c OR 159c
He did really well dropped to two miles last season, winning the Grand Annual, but he's going to find it more difficult now. I was delighted with his comeback at Cheltenham and if he can stay at that level, he'll pick up his races. If he's going to step into Graded company it's more likely to be in a Desert Orchid Chase than a Tingle Creek but I genuinely think he's at his limit. He's likely to run at Ascot on Saturday and go from there.
Star quality
Soaring Glory
6g Fame And Glory - Hapeney
P Hickey
2F314-1
RPR 154h OR 150h
He's still a big baby who can always go chasing at a later date but I want to let him get as far as he can over hurdles first. Going to Ascot last month, we still thought he had a bit of mileage off 143 and he did his job nicely. He's in the Fighting Fifth and we'll keep an eye on the entries but he'll probably go to the Gerry Feilden at Newbury next. To be a Grade 1 horse you have to win a good handicap off top weight and if he can do that then we can maybe look at a better race. He still has potential.
Time To Get Up
8g Presenting - Gales Return
John P McManus
2/3411-0
RPR 148c OR 144c
He struggled in the Grand Sefton. He didn't attack the fences as you'd like to see and was giving them too much air. I wouldn't rule him out of the Grand National completely at this stage but his next run was going to be the Welsh National or the Becher and I think we now know Chepstow is more the route for him.
Trapista
4f Golden Horn - Quezon Sun
John P McManus
1-1
RPR 131h OR 131h
I'm not sure it was a great race at Huntingdon but it was the last time she could run in a novice hurdle and she won nicely. She'll have to make the step into handicap company now and we might look at a mares' handicap hurdle at Cheltenham in December.
Yes Indeed
4g Martaline - She Hates Me
Michael O'Flynn & Roel Hill Farm
3712-15
RPR 137c OR 142c
He won a Listed chase in France and, although he's only four, we'll keep him over fences as he's a nice, big horse. I think he wants dig in the ground and we'll get him started in a handicap chase at Ascot on Friday where he receives a four-year-old allowance.
Zabeel Champion
4g Poet's Voice - Stars In Your Eyes
Martin Tedham & Wasdell Properties Ltd
1
RPR 108h
A high-class Flat horse who was placed at Royal Ascot for Mark Johnston this summer. He seems versatile with regards to the ground and showed a good attitude to win over hurdles at Leicester. He's learning on the job and is likely to go for another small race next. I'm sure he'll stay further than two miles in time.
Bumper horses
There was talk that the bumper All The Glory ran third in at Warwick was quite decent and she should be up to winning a similar race. Copper Cove is a nice, big chasing type who will stick to bumpers this season for experience and should pick up a race. Itso Fury came from Liz Doyle and was second in the sales race at Fairyhouse in April. He goes well at home and could start off in a bumper in a month or so. Springwell Baywas second in the Goffs Land Rover Bumper at Punchestown and is going quite nicely ahead of his run at Market Rasen on Thursday. You'd hope he'd go close in a bumper before going on to better things.
