  • [QUOTE=Moby123;n363732]

Easysland was very revved up on a recent visit to the course - a good sign
Prengarde's arrival to the UK wasn't without difficulty and it's fitness is nowhere near what it should be at this stage.[/QUOT
Do you know if either/both/neither will make the race Moby ?

    • Both aiming to be there, but Prengarde seen as more an investment for future renewals than this one.

Thanks. So potentially Prengarde might be left at home ?

        • Is anyone covering Delta Work for Gordon’s Golden Pentagon?

No, the plan is still to run at the moment but not looking particularly hopeful for this renewal due to poor fitness.

Not I Sir. Sacrilege going against Tiger.

              • If delta work finished first and tiger roll second even Gordon would be gutted

Agree. It won't happen will it. We all know it's Tiger Wednesday. I shall be wearing the colours.

                  • Amazed you can still get 10's for Shady Operator for this. 12 year old Tiger Roll with not much form this season, doubts over all the French raiders. SO has probably the best form of those at the top of the market this season and will appreciate the better ground.

Tiger wins, better to just accept it and not waste anything trying to get him beat.

                      • Tiger wins for me, he's one of my NAP's, the only worry I have is if the ground is soft on the day, other than that Tiger wins

                        • Was a little bit disappointed with Prengarde LTO, I know it was a prep run but was hoping to see a little more. Not sure fitness is anywhere near what they want, with age on his side no real reason to rush him.

Hes only rated 136 tiger beats him with big Gordon on his back let alone Keith donoghue

                            • Shady operator would have been a good bet if they had managed to get him to the course (still never been to the course which is a huge -). 10 is probably about right especially factoring in the defeat lto

The defeat last time out was on Heavy ground that he hated and still nearly got up. The lack of a run over the Cross Country course at Cheltenham is a concern but he's been running over Cross Country courses in Ireland and his form figures are 112 in that sphere.

Personally I don't look too much into marks for this race ever since it stopped being a handicap and Josie's Orders (eventually) won it off 115. The marks are compiled by overall chase form and not running over Cross Country fields.

Tiger Roll is definitely a worthy favourite but it seems as if because of what happened last year, people are totally disregarding any kind of recent form and that's spread to the likes of Easyland (prior win) and reputations of Delta Work and Prengarde.
