    • If you're on Easysland already then I guess you'd not dismiss him completely.

But you couldn't touch him going forward could you?

        • Don’t know if he was expected to run or not, but no pengrande in the x country this weekend

          • Shady Operator entered though. Nice easy win there would be ideal. Enda and JP got few in though so not sure which will actually run.

He surely needs to get a prep in and time is slowly running out

Has bags of cross country experience already and has run seven times in 2021 so I wouldn't see this as a negative.
My guess, and it is only a guess, is that he'll get a spin or two around the course leading up to the race...

And he probably doesn't even need that with Enda having a Cheltenham course replica in his back garden

Enda doesn't really do that because of his replica at home. Tiger is having another spin though!

                    • I thought every XC entry needs to school around the Cheltenham course first before being allowed to run or have I just dreamed that ??

They have to pop 3 of the more tricky obstacles and be signed off as competent jumpers which they can do on the morning of or day before the race. I’ll double check that but I’m pretty sure that’s right.

Cheers for clarifying Charlie. Probably best they do it prior to the day ?? As Tiger did the other weekend.

Defo. The Irish would travel over a few days before anyway

                            • Be nice to see Shady Operator go well tomorrow. Giving 8lb to the 147 rated TEP might not be that easy though.

I'm expecting his experience and accuracy over the XC banks to account for that weight differential.
