Aye, considered backing Tiger Roll. I just think with so much uncertainty over his remaining ability, even if he turned up he couldn't actually be that short a price. So decided to wait it out.
Could he a mistake when we eventually see the entries mind.
I like Shady Operator but I worry that they ducked it last year when it made a lot of sense and didn't bring him over in the autumn either.
Tiger Roll will just end up winning it anyway wont he?!
Was only thinking last night Balko Des Flos was worth topping up on! Thank god I got distracted by the program the wife was watching about cutting cysts out of peoples bodies

Only made his banks debut in the February race so would have been inexperienced, plus JP had Easysland who I think he believed was a certainty.
Can see myself pressing Shady Operator regularly from here…
Do we know why he didn't run in December? After saying that was the plan... That's my concern.
Not sure, but the Risk of Thunder was mid November so perhaps decided to stay at home for that instead ?
Were there noises about the Dec race after he’s won the Risk of Thunder ?
No guarantee the French horses will come and who knows what they do with Tiger (if anything).
Topped up another 1pt ew Shady Operator 10/1 (4 places)
I'm tempted to do the same, however, would like confirmation of his well being first. After he won the Risk of Thunder I remember reading a quote saying he'd prob be sent to the Dec Cheltenham meeting. They sent Midnight Maestro instead. It's just enough to hold me back...

Yea, it was immediately after that race. Enda said about going to Cheltenham in December.
"We'll probably be going to Cheltenham in December with him"
I mean he did say 'probably' but still would like to hear something.
Typical, I go to the shops and come back to see your horse is out.
It never gets any easier does it, I should be used to it, and it’s all part of AP betting, Grhhhh.
I think Tiger just wins now, honestly can't believe that he's gone at the game - it's just the usual Giggi playing tricks. Let him win and then retire him as the hero of a horse that he is.

Agree. Can't imagine anyone wanting any other horse to win if he turns up. The roof really will come off the stand when he cruises home again.

I get the sentiment but anyone having a bet in the race will surely disagree, I doubt there are many people who happily part with hard earned cash and cheer on another horse to beat theirs...

I'm not so sure. A big roll up possibly yes but small winnings I reckon they'd want Tiger to come home first again. He's been a brilliant servant to national hunt racing and has got plenty involved.
