Despite the fading light on a cold evening at Leopardstown, the twinkle in Gordon Elliott's eye was clear to see after Tiger Roll delighted the leading trainer in a key workout under Davy Russell after racing on Monday.

Which logically puts Mark Walsh on Pregarde. He isn't likely to have picked the third string Midnight Maestro, so it suggests they are happy with Pregarde taking his chance and that they have him right.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.
