I think that's good cover bet territory now given how well the horse is regarded and how we know warm up races over hurdles don't seem to indicate performance over the jumps (and given how deep I'm in on Tiger)

Wise(?!) minds. Just seen you've gone e/w. We differ on that slightly. My thinking is he'll either be a star or so undercooked/inexperienced that he'll bomb out so prefer win only.

To be fair all of Prengardes hurdles form early in his career was at gaff tracks, yesterday was zero indication of what he could be capable of in the cross country.
I wouldn't be writing him off when it looked like they just wanted to get a run under his belt before deciding whether he goes in march or not.
I'm not rushing to take the 7/1 right now but on the day that price might be more tempting,

That's my thinking and I'd imagine theirs after yesterday. No need to go in at the deep end now. It could destroy him going forward. He's only 5, doesn't turn 6 properly until after the Festival. He's a baby and has many years ahead of him. They'll do the right thing.

Taken the 7/1 Prengarde NRNB as well. In full hope of getting it returned tomorrow when he's not entered

If he does go he can't go off that price though can he. Bit of a no brainer. Even with an entry tomorrow I'd expect him to go shorter.
