I did and got the same 20s with the initial price requests. Though I could only get the 14s myself on easysland.

He's good, as you can tell with 5 cross country wins on the bounce.

And not much to say really, the price was right to take a chance and time will tell,

        • Just to add, iv only just bothered looking at the odds again.

I have 30 members, Plus myself, my Mrs, and someone who helps me out.
me my Mrs +1 deffo did, and I'd expect almost all members backed with Hills. Hence them shitting themselves and going 5/1 Fav.

In terms of rolling up at current odds, I wouldn't advised it, one miss at evens, and if you back him after you've only got 3/1 about a horse that will likely drift, now the money is on... and it will go quiet again for a little while.

Back with PP and there's no cash-out when they go NRNB, so imo you either backed him at the big price, or you may aswell wait and see if he makes it there safe and sound on the day.

Think the most likely winner or just because of the 20's you got was a bet?

I obviously wouldn't have put him up at current odds, but there wouldn't be many at all, that I do at single figures, so that's nothing parricularly against the horse.

Theres not much to say, His form has lines to well known horses over here, his videos and exportation certificates are all freely able to be viewed, and his registration will be (in 4 days).

So I'm sure everyone will have there own opinions whether he is or not, and hopefully he turns up fit and well on the day, and gives the answer.

              • Jour de Galop has now written an article about his move.. for anyone interested, and is handy with French or Google translate.

                *****

With my own working out, now hopefully I'm done on this race, so it likely doesn't matter. .
Prengarde is probably the best of the French, i had also had an eye on saint Goddefroy who is very good and right up there, but iv been told that he is very unlikely to go to chelt and heads to Pau. Lucky net love was the other, and i liked him as a potential EW outsider who stays well, I felt he would suit chelt. But he goes to pau, he has the same owners as prengarde so they won't sell one for a fortune, and then potentially stitch up JP by taking him on. The same yard have been considering running Thatsmyseat, I don't like her myself, I don't think she wants 4 miles at all, imo.

Guillaume had planned to run Uniketat at chelt this season, but he has bombed, and wouldn't be an absolutely ideal candidate for 4 miles anyway, especially with prengarde now being in the field.

Prengarde has obviously been trained with chelt in mind, Guillame wanted to run him himself, but no chances will be taken with the covid....he's skipped over pau to come here early, and in terms of me backing him, iv obviously timed it right in putting up/ requesting before that was freely available.

Tiger Roll obviously wouldn't want too much cut in the ground, easysland does want cut, whether they both make it, iv no idea.
i'd assume the former does and its the usual chat, and he'll likely bounce back and be competitive.

As I'd seen mentioned prior on here, when I looked the other day to see if prengarde was mentioned, I'd feel the same about shady operator in terms of missing December, I have no idea, but I'd be weary, he'd have deffo have wanted him to have a prep, ie Yanworth.....

If samcro did go, I definitely wouldnt trust his jumping myself, and I see no reason why prengarde won't confirm the collateral form with diesel dallier. Ajas has never ran in a cross country race in his life, so I'm not sure if they'd bother now. Plan of attack hasnt jumped great, and you'd be weary of the Kim muir. so I'd like to think it's not a ridiculously tough race to win for a debutant.

Maybe just a reaction to the footage catching up with people.

                          Apparently gone to Jonjo https://twitter.com/TheRacingJosh/st...ejqvPUxBg&s=19

                          • Makes sense re any future Covid travel problems. Plus, if they are potentially targeting the GN over the XCC then better to be with jonjo.

                            • I've actually cashed him. There's just no upside in having him in my book. We know he's had some serious issues, and he's been unsighted since last years race. When he was turned over anyway.

If there's positive news, I may re-back him given his price won't change much, but it feels more likely we won't see him at all.

                              • Frank Berry said: "Easysland has gone to Jonjo's. There's no real reason, but he's had a few issues for a long time and hasn't been straightforward. Hopefully Jonjo will get a run into him before the Cross Country Chase.
"The wheels have to stay on, but if he stays sound and Jonjo can get a run into him before Cheltenham then great, if not he may struggle."
