I was told by a very reliable source that it was true. One that is never wrong. I would never post that information on here unless it was in the public domain though.
In other words the 'right people' were put away with this.
And are they still the 'right people' ? now they've been wrong on this occasion ?
And how come I don't know any of the 'right people'
I met Mike Pickering once though.

I got lucky, as I nearly made other bets but held off.
And he may still not make it yet as these things can obviously re occur as in the case of ADV.
It does make me laugh though that you had the opportunity to react and gain financially on the information you were privy too, that only a select number of people knew. And was not public knowledge.
But are now annoyed that this turns out not to be exactly as originally told.
And that other people may have profited from a different perspective.

I do object to deliberate manipulation at the expense of others though. My point here is that I'd be fairly sure that someone with access to information has benefitted. I'm not going to spell it out on a public forum, other than to say that the timing on the exchange, and the way the rumours circulated can be connected back by Betfair to those who benefitted.Luck is a dividend of sweat. Also I'm not sure people being put away is a counter balance to anything really is it? It's just people being put away.
