    Chantry House according to plenty?

That Supreme is head and shoulders above anything Energumene has done, albeit over hurdles?

Just seems Energumene is popular due to others failing rather than what he's actually done?

Hopefully he is rightly so well thought of, so we get a proper QMCC

      Chantry House over 2miles?

Has Chantry House done much more formwise than Janidil? I'd argue not. Energumene murdered him over 2m. For all over 2m, neither Chantry or Janidil are the same horse as over further. If we looking at it that way.....

Greaneteen's only 13/8 giving Shishkin 3pds....he beat CG 5 3/4.....Energumene had CG in his pocket twice....

The difference is, and point I was making, is that Shishkin has won at the festival in a G1, beating a horse that did go on to win a festival G1, whereas Energumene hasn't yet.

I'm not suggesting I don't think Energumene wouldn't have been able to or anything, was just a general musing late last night, that he's elevated slightly by the disappointment of stablemate CPS, more than what he's actually done.

Did Greaneteen improve between runs d'ya think? - What price Greaneteen is against Shishkin isn't really relevant beforehand... the collateral form afterwards when we know the result might be interesting, although inconclusive of course.

CG at least gives us a line in to open G1 2m chasers though which is the main point im trying to make.

Chantry House is clearly better over further so i'm not sure it's all that relevant that Shishkin beat him over 2m but i suppose some will.

Either way i expect Shishkin to beat Greaneteen especially in receipt of 3lbs...i'd expect him to beat him pretty well.

          • Shishkin to run on Monday in the Desert Orchid. (Felt like declaring this in Brian Blessed style…)

Now he's confirmed, I'd be disappointed if he couldn't beat Greaneteen by 8+ lengths, even conceding the fitness edge first time up

Chantry house hasn't beaten any grade 1 horses either yet and hes a 3 mile horse so I'm not sure that counts

I'm hardly Chantry House's biggest fan on here

                    • We didn’t declare Energumene because he has other options, and we’ll keep them apart for the time being.
As expected, but good to see Mullins confirm Energumene not running over Christmas is due to splitting the pair and not any last minute setbacks.

You’d imagine Energumene will have the Ascot Clarence House next up before going onto the festival.
                      Chacun goes DRF as usual.
and Nicky likely goes Game Spirit at Newbury for Shishkin

Was surprised they were running him so soon after losing a 'toe' last time ?? That's got to hurt.Im thinking Battleoverdoyen makes all to beat Envoi.

                            • Really hope Shishkin comes out of this race ok.
Up against an in form horse first time out of novice company.
A hard race today is not ideal imo.

His class will show. He'll win on the bridal and go odds on.
