I don’t know what to make of it. Initially I just think how embarrassing but then on the other hand, he’s known WPM was sending one over and was all for it in his stable tours.
Horse may have a niggle or not quite be 100%. Can see why it looks like shying away from a decent early season matchup!

He said the horse is 100%. No reason he won't run knky he isn't sparkling
Sooner Nicky retires the better, he just infuriates me now.
I know at the end of the day it’s the owners he answers to, but he’s also answerable to the paying public to a degree, and we want to see great horses run against each other.
As said I hope Willie chases him to the ends of the earth with entries!
It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so bloody predictable...
Gets pulled from Tingle Creek because Hendo is a wimp, next he will get pulled from the Desert Orchid because the ground will be too soft, then we will be into the new year without seeing Shishkin and Hendo will be complaining that there are no races for him.

And then be absent from the festival because he wasn't able to give them the ideal prep....
If I was her owner I’d want to go into Cheltenham to win another race and emulate Tiger Roll in winning 3 different races at the Cheltenham festival. I don’t think she has much of a chance of winning the QM and at least one of the horses at the top of the betting will make it there. If she goes the Mares Chase I’d put her favourite to win over Elimay with her course form.
Obviously you’d keep all options open till then by keeping her entered in the other races but if things stayed the same in these races I’d target the MC with here. Another Cheltenham winner would beat 3rd or 4th in a QM
It's not the same course though WTL. All her form is on the old course, which flies in the face of people having her down as a stayer. As does winning those races from the front off a moderate pace where she's been able to out pace/tough it out against other top two milers.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

Whilst I would wholeheartedly agree with just about everything and everyone’s views on here since Shishkin’s removal of the Tingle Creek, I would maybe take exception to the “he’s (Henderson)also answerable to the paying public to a degree…..”
Nicky Henderson isn’t answerable to the paying public at all folks.
As mentioned before, I have a significant investment on him for March, and I may even have had a little splash on him for the Tingle Creek, so I was just as frustrated (at in effect, ‘lost money’) as the majority on here, but I would suggest that the only two people Henderson is accountable too are Marie & Joe Donnelly, and maybe even more importantly, Shishkin himself.
Yes, totally agreed, I would love to have seen Shishkin next Saturday, and would love to have seen his development against some top 2 mile chasers - and it’s fair to say we’d all have a reasonable idea where all of our ante post bets were standing post race. But if Nicky wants to pull the horse for any reason, large, small or even because he’s ‘scared’ (quotes), then that’s his business. If he’d rather ensure he has an potentially easier race a few weeks later which ultimately led him to be absolutely right for his Champion Chase and he won it, we wouldn’t give a toss about the TingleCreek.
The people who’ve supported Shishkin with money on here have, I’m sure in the majority of cases, backed him for the ‘big one’. That’s in just a little less than four months time, not a week Saturday.
If you were to go through all the great 2 mile Queen Mother winners of the last 2 decades, you’d be hard pushed to remember if they turned up for a Tingle Creek or Clarence House a couple of months in advance, But you probably remember where you were standing at Cheltenham when they crossed the line 1st in the Champ Chase.
Nobody ever moaned when you didn’t see Al Boum Photo before Christmas, just to hack up in a meaningless New Year’s Day Tramore card, only to win dual Gold Cup’s a couple of months later.
So yes, I, like the very large majority want to see Shishkin. I wanted to see Shishkin in the Tingle Creek. I’ve lost money on Shishkin not being declared for the Tingle Creek. I’m frustrated and disappointed.
But to suggest that Nicky owes the paying public to ‘run him’ whenever WE want him to, and to see the match ups WE want him to, is I feel, a little arrogant of us all, when none of us have any information at hand that Nicky does in front of him.
After all, the last time Nicky bayed to public pressure, he ended the career of Altior there & then, when we all wanted to see him run against Cyrname. He said he’d never do that again.
The Queen Mother Champion Chase is the target. It’s our (for some, not all) ante post target too. Let our judgment be not before.
And then be absent from the festival because he wasn't able to give them the ideal prep....
Yup. It's the one thing that has always made me concerned for Shishkin, I really don't trust Hendo to give him the prep he needs. Using a wind op that he had months ago as an excuse is ridiculous, the Tingle Creek has been his target for a long time, why isn't he 100% fit by now? And even if he isn't, why is this the first we're hearing of it?
Chances are now that even if he gets a run this side of new year, he will be against race fit horses, and I can definitely see Mullins entering one in every race that he could use. Even if he doesn't want to use Chacun to do that, he has a few others (thinking Cilaos Emery) who he could use to give Shishkin a hard time. Even if Willie doesn't, running against the likes of Nube Negra, or even First Flow/Allmankind with race fitness on their side is going to be a significant step up over what he's done so far.

Has anyone got the historic log of Tingle Creek prices offered by Unibet ?
Be interesting to see how these compare to the rest of the market…

Nicky Henderson isn’t answerable to the paying public at all folks.
So you don’t think one of the main protagonists of NH racing should be in any way answerable to it’s audience?
Don't think there’d be much of a sport to watch in a pretty short period of time if all trainers took that approach.
