    • Very good. But not sure that’s good enough to win the RSA this year.

Really?? I thought it was a super performance. It'll take a very good one to beat him. I have really underestimated him and have not got a penny on him. Big mistake I reckon.

        • As some who has backed every conceivable winner of this race besides BMG, I am now a lot more worried than I was previously. I thought he was extremely impressive today - particularly with the way he cruised back into the lead after the most serious fencing mistake of his career.

Yes. I posted a few days ago to say I think this is the best race of the fez and that performance from BMG has made me even more excited for it. But I don’t think BMG will beat GDC. Don’t get me wrong, I think we’re talking a point in it, but I think GDC is just excellent.

Ps. Your virgin GC bets are going to be a lot more exciting next year!

Agree. I think GDC will have to be at his absolute best to win. Great for Britain and this is now a very competitive race.

This is pretty much where I am. Galopin is going to have to be at his best, BMG will be a very worthy adversary.

                • do you mark up bmg cause of the absolute piss poor form of the rest of the yard?

Well if the 2 in front of him in the betting dont turn up here he walks it.

                        Definitely a case for it.

He's likely to find one too good... if GDC wasn't running, I think he'd be right in the mix to beat whatever is best of the rest in Ireland.

100% agree with you lobos, couple sticky jumps, who cares he’s a novice.

It was the reaction to getting close to the 4th last think it was, couple shakes and was upsides Pats again.

Hes very good, but and always the but, the Irish are always better.

English trained horses have won 2 of the last 3 and 6 of the last 10 runnings of this race, so far from always better.

Sorry, should have said, on current dominance.

                              But you’re right

                              • Not got a penny on him but he is a lovely horse. Nicholls deserves a lot of credit for the way he has campaigned him (twice in intermediate/graduates, grade 1 at Xmas and a handicap) and there can't be any experience excuses for Cheltenham as he has had 4 proper races and learnt plenty.
