“That’s something we’ll have to consider. He won the three-mile novice at Punchestown but there’s nothing really to say he needs three miles.

“Looking at him, he looks to like to go forward and looks to like attacking his fences. He came out of Paul’s hands at a few of his fences where he could’ve popped, he could’ve taken the easier option.

“To me, he has everything he needs to do two and a half miles, the way he jumps and travels. We’ll have to see what Willie decides, but he’s definitely equipped for the Turners if he wants to.”

Agree nothing wrong with an opinion, but PM isn't saying anything most of us don't believe. The horse could go for either race and the connections are currently non-committal. Just strikes me as boring click-bait in the lead up to the festival. If he'd given a target or suggested they were even leaning a specific way (and been telling the truth), it would be different.

Maybe he was asked and he just said as much as he feels about the horse right now.

From that it does look like hell go Marsh. Brilliant match up but not good for punters as either GDC or Bob will get beat (or both of course). Anyone on Ahoy Senor or GDM or Capodanno or BMG AP for RSA will be rubbing their hands together.

4.4 for GDC on RSA to back and 2.2 for Turners. I always am wary of P Mullins comments, he has plenty to say most festivals and a lot of the time the horses go to a different race.
