That was very good. Not as visually impressive as him debut, but certainly much more substance to it.

Won it in the manner of a stayer, there was no turn of pace in there just turned the screw in the last mile.

There were a couple of slightly awkward jumps where I was a bit worried but he seemed to get better as the race went on. Definitely a 3 miler...

When a horse fiddles one or makes an error I always look at what he does next, he was tight at the middle one down the back straight then he pinged the one after.
He's demolished a horse who put up an RPR of 155 last time.

I may be in a minority but Monkfish at this point had proven more than GDC over hurdles and novice chases and looked more impressive in this race and had a weaker stayer class to beat than what GDC may have to beat.
