Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    He said this last week

    • Not sure if it's been mentioned already but just seen a Lucinda Russell interview on RacingTv where when asked by Lydia, she says the RSA has to be the aim for Ahoy Senor this season, talks of how you can't hold horses like that back. Lovely stuff!

        • The trip is short of his optimum but I don’t think the decent ground will be an issue and fury road is classy enough if back to his peak hurdles form to win a bad drinmore tomorrow IMO. Has 2 and a bit lengths to make up on the fav with the benefit of race fitness this time. Has to win or go very close if he’s going to be a player in graded races at the festival but is entitled to on his 19/20 form if the wind op has resolved last seasons issues

          • I've got Fury Road here but just wondering if he is a potential Kim Muir plot with the distances Gordon has been running him in

Surely he will be too high to run in this with a hurdles rating of 153. The UK handicapper won’t drop him low enough to get in here. I think he’ll end up in this race with RWF in the NHC

I hope he does, just thinking his last 2 hurdles were PU/PU and has been beaten over fences, a couple more runs at 2.5 with him staying on but beaten could see him drop further

                • I’ve just noticed, I’ve lost my cash out with B365 on my 1pt bet on Vanillier for this. Anyone heard anything which may have driven this?

Same here so not just your account don’t worry. Think it could be to do with trainers comments about possibly going NH Chase as I can still cash out my bed for that. NH Chase looks a lot hotter than it did when Cromwell made those comments with RWF and OTR putting in good performances since so hopefully he will be campaigned towards this

Thanks ToniC. It’s nice to know I’m in good company. I’m still convinced he’ll come here so, fingers crossed.

                      • I don't think there are any world beaters in that race but both Fury Road and Beacon Edge will be coming here surely

                        • beacon edge jumped poorly through the middle of the race and completely lost his position, it was a good performance considering.
Long bitcoin, long gold, long silver, long g/s opening day Cheltenham Festival

                          • Yeah I wouldn’t crab beacon edge too much, that was a decent finishing effort there. Made fury road look slow.
Grand paradis left his feet in far too many before being hampered too.

                            • Noel Meade just said the 3m Novices Leopardstown at Christmas would be made for him, Beacon Edge, so you would think this would be where he goes, if he comes to the Festival. I wonder if they'll be pondering the NH Chase as well.

                              • Thought that the way BE performed there, he should be well suited to an RSA.
