It's absolutely a holding pattern quote. He's forced to say something because it's the press day but he will, as usual, not make any decision until the last minute.

Willie mentioning the Turners changes nothing, IMO.

Not sure why you’re jumping to the defence of someone who probably doesn’t even feel attacked and knows it was a joke(frustration I’m using this emoji as).

so I was defending the poster because I noticed they were a fairly infrequent poster and didn’t feel like we were responding in a way that encouraged them to be a messenger again. Of course he or she may well be 100% cool and I suspect they are (I agree with you) but it’s also possible they aren’t.

I’m sure Charlie was joking he’s a great guy but in general (not aimed at Charlie’s post at all) putting an emoji after a let’s say robust post won’t encourage lurkers or infrequent posters to post more imo.

"Galopin did it very well at Leopardstown and I can't see him going up to three miles. "
Definitely doesn't sound good does it... Although granted he's full of shit.
L'homme Presse NRNB price isn't great unfortunately, otherwise I'd have a go. Can't see Bob coming here at all.
