As some who has backed every conceivable winner of this race besides BMG, I am now a lot more worried than I was previously. I thought he was extremely impressive today - particularly with the way he cruised back into the lead after the most serious fencing mistake of his career.Comment

Yes. I posted a few days ago to say I think this is the best race of the fez and that performance from BMG has made me even more excited for it. But I don’t think BMG will beat GDC. Not got a penny on him but he is a lovely horse. Nicholls deserves a lot of credit for the way he has campaigned him (twice in intermediate/graduates, grade 1 at Xmas and a handicap) and there can't be any experience excuses for Cheltenham as he has had 4 proper races and learnt plenty.Comment
