  • Well S245, I had decent odds as well, I took a partial cashout, as it’s stilll a nice chunk if he wins, but I really don’t see him beating galopin. It’s a tough call

    • Iv partially cashed too. Think when 365 get wind of this it gets greyed out. Plus don't really fancy him that much anymore anyway. If and when Galopin gets confirmed for this I think Ahoy will be available at a bigger price than he is now if anyone was so enclined as to go back in. But from reading that it doesn't sound like they are gonna go, looks like it's all about next year.

What on earth is wrong with this Bravemansgame 168?

He does have the highest OR (159) which is 16 lb clear of Pats Fancy / Grumpey Charley
Those RPRs on the racecard are all wrong apart from BMG's aren't they? Like 142 is the best RPR Neston Park has ever achieved. No idea why he has 177 next to his name!

Is this one for the stupid questions?

          • I think I watched the interview where this has come from. While she did say that it was an option (to swerve Cheltenham), she also said that the ultimate aim is the Gold Cup next year and she will go whatever route prepares him best for that.

To me, if the target is the GC next year, then he should 100% come here.

            • Cashout already gone makes that decision easier...

They’ve greyed out already the bastards! I was too slow.

So windy. Mentioning Gold cup this year, then in last few weeks the old RSA looks his race and now perhaps sidestepping as they want a gold cup horse next season. Which is a pile of cr@p. They want a soft grade 1 and the money that goes with it instead of a proper race.
will be going into his gold cup season without ever having run at Cheltenham and next season the excuse will be not having run at the course so they will go to the bowl.

Yeah them horses if taking those RPR's all have 30lbs up their sleeve's , the tab down the bottom displays what the actual one's are yet that too sometimes shows these inflated one's that when someone asked about last year I'm sure it was RPR plus last 3 runs form intertwined into it somehow, it made little sense and doesn't me typing it out now. Either way it's rare for a horse to be 12-15lbs rpr above it's OR let alone the whole field 2 stone clear it's confusing for anyone glancing that is unfamiliar with their setup admittedly at times.

                            Unfortunately not.
The 1/9 now is probably value though

                              • Rubbish story that. She was just being vague and not committing to anything, like most do. Then they asked her outright if she might swerve Cheltenham and go to Aintree and she said, 'it's a possibility'. It's not like she laid out a firm plan to miss Cheltenham, or seemed particularly intent on going down that route
