They have this in the National Hunt Special Doubles section @ 25/1 if you didn’t want the risk of the bet being voided.

Hadn’t realised it was that clear cut? Or is he jumping to conclusions?

The owners have said they want to go to Cheltenham, and Nichols confirmed this a couple of days after Kempton.
Just wether they will get another run on or not.

It’s easy for us to say of course he should run but we don’t own him and we get to move on to the next race on the card without another thought. All of us on here want to see titanic match ups but unless you are a JP or Gigi etc then perhaps it’s understandable if you were a little more clinical and less sporting in your decision making.
don’t get me wrong I’d love to see him run as he is an exceptional jumper and clearly a very good horse but GDC would scare me. I think I’d be thinking ok do your best to get the KG in the bag and then take him and all comers on after that in the Gold Cup.

I would trust my trainer to do his best to win the KG like he said and win as much prize money on the way. There is the potential to run a personal best, still not win and bottom him for the season. They have already taken on one Irish superstar and left the rest of the season behind, and now they have seen GDC I’m not convinced they will want to see history repeat itself. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.

Nicholls would spit his Gravy (all he drinks apparently) out on hearing that.
And not running a horse for fear of bottoming him in this context seems like it's just something to trot out. Rather than it being a serious consideration.
The King George is next season, and whilst it's a valid long term target for next year for this horse, it would be foolish to be prepping for that at this stage.
And Willie has a taste for the KIng George again now, as he can win it with exposed average horses on a day out.
So nothing to say GDC won't turn up there either.

Probably not far off.
I don't think Bob bottomed him if that's what you're getting at, unless something went off in the saddling sheds
He seemed one paced at both festivals last year to me.
Lacks the class of a really good horse like Bob Olinger.
However, his jumping is exceptional, and takes nothing out of him.
Definitely a better animal for a fence IMO.

But it's too early to be backing off surely.
At least wait till dec's to duck out.
Once you see what you're really up against.
