I just think GDS could be pretty handy and I'd expect Stattler to need much further to be seen at his best. If GDS can't beat Stattler over 2m4 then he isn't going to be up to the standard to win this race.

It may be that fences will be the making of him, but he's not one I'm overly excited about until he shows the level of form required for the festival.
I could see him picking off a listed or Grade 3 event but think he is below G1 level, so that is my issue with him.

Completely agree, i reckon most 3 milers would have given Glens Of Antrim a beating over any distance.
Its just another part of the puzzle for WPM, he has so many horses that look like being up to challenging. Could it be he also fires 2 at the NHC this year?
