Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Will be a serious wake up call to the industry when the Sandown shootout to decide the championship is between HDB, Gordon and Mullins…

It's just all about the ground and Willie just waiting for it to become soft for his best ones

I’d say it would be by Saturday, weather looks to be turning over here from tomorrow onwards really getting a bit of rain due. Surely you’d expect him to at least enter, then see what the weather does before decs? Hope you’re right though, of course, and I’m just worrying for nothing

I don't think there's anything to worry about, there are loads of Willies horses in the same situation.

Ruby did mention on the Road to Cheltenham the other day that even when it starts to rain the horses will need two weeks of prep on the ground at home, so may have to wait another 2 weeks or till Xmas now as I'm sure Willie will want a lot of runners there and the short space of time between in two weeks time and Xmas isn't ideal

            • Were there any comments made regarding Crosshills chase debut today from the trainer? outpaced over 2m2f but I've backed him for this and seemed to jump well.

They need to change the wording of it for clarity as it says to win the 2022 gold cup underneath. Wouldn’t back it until that’s changed

                        • Holymacapony: runs in the beginners chase won by Monkfish last season. beat Gaillard du Mesnil on debut last year but didn't go on from there. Same connections as Monalee/Minella Indo who both went down the RSA route. Not guaranteed to be same level but surely bought with fences/staying chases in mind.

Priced around 40/1 but will surely shorten if he wins or goes close tomorrow? Watching brief really i suppose but will be interested to see how he takes to fences.

                              • That was really smart, looked scruffy at a few fences but the way he sorted his feet when he didn’t quite meet the fence right was excellent. Would take him in a match bet vs bravemansgame over the RSA trip.
