Came on to say the above. PN won’t run if he doesn’t think he has a v good chance of winning. If he does, BMG will run. To me, everything we have seen so far says BMG will run and will win

He said something very similar regarding BMG last Nov too,
“It’s not the be all and end all obviously there are some nice races and as I said I’d be more excited about him going novice chasing next autumn then going to Cheltenham at this stage of his career, but we will see that is a long way off.”
John Dance was very keen on him going to chelt last season so im not sure what would have changed, imo he's coming here.

There's just too much of this Nicholls won't run his horses at Cheltenham debate. He just hasn't had the horses good enough lately that he can compare against the likes of his best previous horses. IMO, BMG will be coming here whatever PN says between now and March. I think the only horse he won't want to face is BobO who is more likely to be going to the Marsh. BMG jumps so well and 3m will suit him even more. He didn't even have a race yesterday according to Cobden.

Imagine how Hick must of felt
How Hick would of loved playing in these 20/20 days. He would be brilliant.
Talking about brilliance, the novice chasers this season could be an exceptional crop, early days too, I've took a little gamble with Paddys 20-1 on Bob Ollinger.
If you owned Bob... Marsh or RSA??

BMG will definitely run at Cheltenham unless he meets with an unlikely defeat at Kempton. He’ll be unbeaten at that point so there is no way you can’t send him to Cheltenham again like they did last season. The real question is whether he’ll be good enough and if his improvement for fences surpasses that of his rivals. He’s put in some immaculate jumping performances but that alone does not win the big races. It’s good that he’s laid down a marker but we’ve yet to see a few of his likely rivals come March so it’s impossible to make an comparisons yet.

Personally I was very impressed with BMG and is the rightful favourite.
Yes GDC looked good at the end of last season, but if I had to back one at todays prices, it’s got to be BMG.
He’s proved that he can jump a fence (very well), whereas GDC has yet to be seen. (He could be a monster over fences, but we don’t know)
GDM is the other unknown and at 25’s would be the play.
BUT, again hasn’t been seen yet.
He did get the better over 2.5 miles, but I would think that BMG would be more suited by the step up in trip.
Wasn’t asked for much yesterday and won comfortably.

Sorry.
I meant out of BMG & GDC, BMG is the rightful Fav and who I would take of those two.
I agree that at the prices GDM is the play, but he might not be able to jump a fence and that’s why you’re getting a better price.
BMG has proven twice that he’s a good jumper.
(Fortunately, I have all three backed at nice prices )
