        • Glad I am comes here, after Hillcrest on Saturday I think that probably made their minds up
With WOA that gives them two good chances in both races

Right decision. The Hillcrest result at the weekend says that IAM has a decent chance in this especially as it looks to be the easier if the 3 Novice Hurdles to win. He looked the winner at Cheltenham against Hillcrest until after the last and with normal improvement he will be very competitive.

his price for this is fucking terrible.
the maiden he won is fucking terrible.
                the epitomy of henderson hype
                Should be 25-1 plus.

Agreed....I said this a few days ago and didn't get a bite though .... might have been too polite

He's had 1 run over obstacles against fodder (and only 2 runs under rules in total, didn't win the bumper either), then not having time to make an intended engagement so turning up after just 1 run, for Nicky Henderson, the ideal profile for winning this race?

Nicky's only won the race once, with a bit of a star, Simonsig, who had about 8 runs in his career prior, including 3 that season.

Nothing about the horse screams winner, apart from chatter.

                  Avoid, all day long, avoid.

If he wins and bolts up, you can be safe in the knowledge that at single figures, he was an absolute anomoly and then celebrate him for the rest of time as a horse you got wrong.

The lucky 40/1 slip holders... clearly will be happy for him to go and take his chance....

Yeah, I should have remembered it.
Cos I did read it and nod.
Just reading the stable tour today and it annoyed me.
For anyone thinking of backing him, wait till the day as he's sure to be 16-1 or bigger. Unless Henderson is all conquering on day 1.

                      • I know a lot of people like Ramillies more for the Bartlett, but he's out to 125/1 NRNB with Bet365 for the Ballymore. Runs over 2m4 tomorrow. Seems like a no-brainer to me, no way he goes off anything like that price if he wins tomorrow and if he doesn't, then he won't run anyway.

Surely though he won't go to the ballymore if he wins or fails?
If he loses, hard to see a situation where Willie drops him in trip and if he wins, nailed on for the AB.
Yeah the price is good at 125/1 but potentially you're just lending 365 a few points.
If you have the expenditure, nice price.

                            Yep, that's silly.

Could win and still not go...but what if he wins today and they think "oooooh he's shown more speed than we thought"....

One thing that sticks with me with Ramillies is I seem to remember Willie and team being very sweet on him at the start of last season. Of course, this doesn't always translate on the racecourse. 125/1 NRNB does seem nice for a small play
