He was never more than Luke warm in the race. He is only a 5 year old (and an April foal) and a very inexperienced one at that. The last 5 year old to win was the new one who was having his 9th career start in this. North lodge has only had two lifetime starts. Journey With Me will ‘likely’ run in the 2m3f Novice Hurdle at Naas (Feb 12) rather than the Dublin Racing Festival.

That said, of all the situations that could have occurred. JWM down to Bally, GJ replacing him in Bartlett is the least likely of all. I had JWM missing festival completely as much more likely (with GJ (Bally) and GC (AB) flying the flag). I also don't see why JWM couldn't go Bartlett then drop back to the naas race.
Fortunately for me, yesterday I found a decent looking TMSG, JWM (Bally) double that I didn't think I had, but the plan they've stated still makes no sense to me based on everything we've heard and seen.Comment

Still can all change. It depends how the horses perform in their respective races. If Grand Jury doesn't quite stay at the weekend and Journey With Me looks workmanlike over 2m3 then it could be game on againComment
