Can I check if you're sure about that RB? I thought they mentioned the Ballymore after the race, but I'm second guessing myself now.
Ok so I cannot be 100% certain. My memory is usually fairly good but not infallible. But how I remember it is straight after the race connections spoke about the Ballymore but I believe I read (I think in attheraces) that they were looking at the Sidney Banks en route. Now when they mentioned Ballymore after the race I thought they meant March not trials day as they were pretty pumped up. Let me see if I can find the article.
yep article in attheraces 20th Jan...wonderwall set to tune up for festival in Sidney Banks
The Sidney Banks is where Wonderwall is going next. We will run him there and then, all being well, it will be on to the Ballymore,” said Spencer
3SL for me going here, was mentioned when I was at the yard over the Autumn Ballymore could be the race for him. I was at Fairyhouse for this debut in November and again the vibes were he could step up in trip. He will run his race at the DRF behind Mighty Potter and SG. Then come here with a great chance IMHO.

I’ve only ever had him covered for this so I hope you’re right.

I cashed him out but fully expecting him to run in the 2m at the DRF and get beat so can always revisit the bet as price shouldn't change much. Might even get a half decent NRNB price as well.
Of all Gordon's boat load of best novices imo TSL will be the one he sends down the handicap route.
Martin Pipe certainly an option, but given how open the Ballymore is this year, I think Gordon will have an eye on this race. Time will tell and we don’t have long now to see it all unfold.

Possible but I think TSL is better than a handicapper and as the owners don’t have anything else of note, they may want to take their chance at a proper prize.

I am in the Ballymore camp for TSL. Yard rate him highly and certainly better than a handicapper IMO.
