I not so sure. Both look proper 2 mile specialist to my eye. No point moving them to a race that won't suit regardless of them both being in the same stable. Different ownership which is a huge factor as well. SG might yet get stuffed in the DRF race anyway so very premature. Let it all unfold.

What’s easier, tackling constitution hill and jonbon (and the stablemate) or stretching out to a trip that might be a bit longer than ideal against the current likely Ballymore field?

Irish bred point to pointers have a great record in the Ballymore and I don’t think either would struggle to get the trip. Sir g already touted as one for the race earlier in the season and dysart D has obvious claims too despite a good win over 2m.

if the both look like grade 1 novices, it’s 99.9% they’ll be split, running both in the supreme guarantees (at least) one of them loses, if they meet it will probably be in punchestown

…..for the sake of the July Saxon Warrior forum Yankee, let’s hope he comes here and the race in an hour or so pans out;

Dysart (Bally) 25-1, State Man (Sup) 33-1; GDC (RSA) 8-1; Capo (NHC) 20-1

I also apologised at the time, at the end of the two weeks researching and writing up the Willie Mullins Diary, first week of July, for having such a big priced yankee.

I recall mentioning that if anyone wanted they could replace Capodanno with Run Wild Fred.

Both Yankees are sitting there, hoping for the best, for Galopin, Dysart, Capo (and RWF).

I'm pleased its lasted so well, so far.

Maybe I could update the Willie Mullins Diary at the end of the season, and predict a new Yankee for those where Ive discovered possible pathways for March 2023.

Looking at the horses as individuals I would tend to agree but I'd imagine the stable would prefer to split their aces. Having backed Dysart Dynamo for the Ballymore it pains me to admit that he looks less likely to step up in trip based on the way he races so keenly whereas the way Sir Gerhard settles should at least give himself a chance of staying further.

I'm hanging on because at this point there's no reason not to and I don't see him lining both SG and DD up in a red hot looking Supreme when one, probably DD, could line up and take the Ballymore without too much bother. IMO etc...

It probably means very little to many but might be worth remembering Dysart Dynamo was entered in the Lawlors Of Naas, and likely would have run if Willie felt he was ready. The race today probably just suited him more at this stage too.

What the Lawlors did give Willie though was a line into the form as he still had Whatdeawant run in the race.

I can only imagine DD trounces Whatdeawant at home, not that he'll ever come out and say as much. Let's be honest though, DD looks as though he'll trounce many, tbf.

I don't buy this whole 'Supreme trial' about the race today though. This was built from when the Chanelle Pharma was 2m2f, but that is now 2m and is the main Supreme trial in Ireland now.

Regardless of the final destination for the four fancied runners I still think Gerri Colombe is overpriced at 20s. I can imagine he'd be single figures once the final declarations appear (assuming he's amongst them, which I still believe he will be).
